Rooted in Lebanon since 1950, Matta has become a distinguished name in the furniture sector. Founded by the entrepreneurial spirit of brothers Georges and Antoine Matta, our journey began with metal furniture and grew into a mastery of wooden creations.

75 YEARS OF MATTA

Guided by the enduring pioneering spirit of our founders, brothers Georges and Antoine Matta, who established Matta in 1950, our story began with metal furniture manufacturing and, over the decades, evolved into a legacy of crafting exquisite wooden furniture for Lebanese homes.
From these early beginnings to our current position as a leading force in Lebanon’s furniture sector, our journey reflects a steadfast commitment to quality, innovation, and a deep understanding of the Lebanese market. This dedication continues today, proudly carried forward by the second and third generations of the Matta family.

KEY STAGES OF OUR EVOLUTION

Opening of the first 2 showrooms.

Establishment of the first manufacturing facilities in Dekwaneh (now a 12,000m² showroom)

Major factory expansion in Ajaltoun (40,000m²)

Opening of Khaldeh branch (5,000m²)

Opening of Hazmieh branch (5,600m²)

Opening of Antelias branch (9,000m²)
